The house is the 2nd oldest surviving dwelling in the River City. It was built by John Hill in 1870. His descendants lived in the home until it's restoration was completed in 2002.

We offer 2 guest rooms with private baths upstairs. The Camellia room is furnished with an original 1890's Lillian Russell spool bed and features a sitting area and bath with a whirlpool tub. The Magnolia room features a 1920's Federal bed and the bath has an antique ball foot tub. Downstairs, our guests are welcome to use the common room, tea room; and a sunny breakfast nook with a stained glass hanging, diffusing light in soft tones. A modest collection of antiques, beautiful chandeliers, ceiling fans, 12 foot ceilings, transoms over the doors, heart of pine floors and ceilings and tongue-and-groove walls, central heat and air, and both wired and wireless hi-speed internet access are featured in the dwelling. Oak, camellia, pecan and magnolia trees grace the grounds and a scattering of informal gardens are featured for our guests to enjoy and commune with nature from our large front porch or the 900 sq ft deck with a gazebo and hot tub. We are sure you will be delighted watching birds and other wildlife playing in the yard and ponds. Please use the links displayed to the right to see more of the B&B and explore opportunities of interest along the gulf coast.

The city of Moss Point is located at the confluence of the Pascagoula and Escatawpa rivers along a major migratory bird route. Spring and Fall witness a major influx of birds stopping over to rest up from their migrations. Bald Eagles and Swallow tail kites are commonly spotted along with hummingbirds, red cockaded woodpeckers and owls. Stop in and we'll introduce you to the neighborhood barn owl sleeping in an old Magnolia tree next door.

The B&B has been featured in the local newspapers, the Mississippi Press and the Sun Herald, on many occasions as well as two local television stations.

Come by and sit a spell; take your shoes off and let the peace and tranquility wash over you.

We Accept the following forms of payment as well as personal & traveller's cheques.
